Mackenzie reached out to me and had a lot of ideas of what she wanted to capture and what was important to her for her senior shoot. Together we decided to do a Deluxe Senior Session so that we could capture a wide variety of images during her session. We decided to do a session in the morning and one in the evening. This setup allows for time in between to change styles of hair, and makeup and maybe even get some lunch. Shooting this type of Senior Session is my favorite because it allows everyone to have plenty of time to just hang out and relax! It is customizable and can be tailored to fit each senior’s vision.

 We started the day at Everett Memorial Stadium where she spent a lot of her time cheering for the Everett High School Football team, we then ventured down the street towards Everett High School itself. One thing that she wanted to capture was her family convertible when this car arrived, I knew it was going to be something really fun to use in our photos. We spent some time taking photos outside of the school and then said see ya later as we each headed in our direction only to meet again later in the evening. 

For our evening session, we chose to do something different and head to Camano Island. This is one of my favorite places to take photos because it has two different sceneries. When you first arrive there is a big grassy area, if you wander a little further there is beach access with lots of driftwood and spots to dip your toes in. This is a perfect spot for golden hour photos or to catch the sunset behind the trees in the grassy field. 10/10 recommend structuring your session like this!
