There is always something special about a sunset, this was no exception for my shoot with Jaime and her Irish Setter Rhiannon. The day started at the Rainer Sporting Dog AKC Dog show in Enumclaw where it was nearly 100 degrees, we were unsure if we were going to be able to shoot because of how hot it was. Lucky for us, as the sun set, the temperature lowered enough for us to create some magic. When Jamie asked me about doing a photoshoot, she wanted something special, something that showed the bond between her and her dog but still captured the essence of the breed. We took many water breaks but walked away with photos that brought light to how beautiful and radiant their relationship is. I am so thankful for the chance to capture the bond between people and their pets.
